A wider focus on diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace has been a welcome development over the last decade, but there is still a long way to go for many organisations.
One survey published only last year found that a quarter of companies still have teams which are predominantly (more than 70%) white, whilst four in ten women and people of colour feel like they’re excluded from decision-making processes within their company.
Sectors including finance and tech, in particular, have farther to go than most.
