Sage People Winter ’22 Release

The Sage People Winter ‘22 Release was available from 23^rd October 2021 for production environments. This exciting release brings a New Mobile App, Recruit User Experience Enhancements, People Management Workflow Attachments and a couple of new wizards to support with creating new Absence Accruals within Time & Attendance.

What you need to know about the Sage People Winter ’22 update

Enhancements to the Sage People Winter ’22 Release include:

• A brand-new Mobile App: This new release brings with it, a new mobile app that allows syncing with calendars so users can view and book time off straight to a chosen calendar on their mobile. You can also make use of biometric mobile features such as face and fingerprint ID, font and display size adjustment – to name a few! The app is now configured to handle international requirements too which is great for your global workforce! Plus, the people management workflow functionality will now be fully responsive on mobile as part of this release.
• People Management Workflow Attachments: The Winter ’22 release enables users to add attachments to HR Requests within People Management Workflow – something that has been a popular customer request so it’s great to see this is now available! The attachments can be optional, mandatory or not required per HR Request type and it gets better…they will now be visible to approvers too!
• Absence Accrual Updates: There are two brand new Absence Accrual wizards available as part of this new Sage People release which will really support administrators when creating new accrual rules and reduce set-up time too. These new wizards have streamlined the process and reduce the risk of creating new rules inaccurately. Check out the new Accrual Rule Basics and Seniority wizards now.
• Enhancements to the Recruit User Experience: There is an improved user experience and design for 4 recruitment pages using Salesforce Lightning in Winter ’22. These are the Application, Candidate, Vacancy and Assessment pages (in addition to the Forms module). More will follow in future releases, but this is a great starting point for Recruit users to make their way on to Lightning.
