In the session we will talk about positive ways to stay healthy and how to look after yourself. We ask the question – “does anyone really recognise signs of possible depressive behaviour in themselves”?
We also discuss how to look for signs in others that they may be struggling, how to support someone remotely and what to look out for as well as how to ask questions about someone’s mental health and feelings (and more importantly what to do with the answer).
We provide tips on how to listen in a non judgemental way, using active listening and discuss what can get in the way of really listening.
Finally we discuss how the systems and tools we use daily can support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of employees working alone.
